GST Day online quiz programme
On 1 July 2024, an online quiz program on Goods and Services Tax (GST) was organized to raise awareness among students. This event was a collaborative effort by the commerce(SF) department,with participation from BCom,B.Com(Aided), BCom(CA) and BCom(IT).The main intention behind organizing this quiz was to educate and inform students about GST, its implications, and its significance in the current economic scenario. This program was inaugurated by our esteemed Principal, along with the Vice Principal and theDirector. Their presence and encouragement set a positive tone for the event.
Hands on Training on Jewellery Making for Girls Students
On 23rd August 2023 Department of Commerce (SF) organized Hands on Training on Jewellery Making for Girls Students by Fempreneur Mrs. M. Ganga Parameshwari, Yogishma Fashions train our girls on that day. Our 3rd year student gave welcome address, our Principal Dr. M. Rajendran sir gave presidential address then Vice Principal Dr. J. Selva Malar mam and Director Dr. P. Sridhar sir felicitate the function. Second year student gave introduction about the chief guest. Our Head of Department Mr. A.P Jeyaram, Head honorured our chief guest with memento. Mrs. M. Ganga Parameshwari gave hands on training to our students make them use to kit. Students are also eagerly participated. Our second year student proposed vote of thanks. Program was completed successfully with the supportive manner and coordination between the staff and students.

3. Our Department organized a great workshop on “ e-filing of Income Tax Returns [ITR]” for our final year students on 29.03.2023. CA. T.Thavamani M.Com., ACMA., FCA.,. Past Chairman, Madurai Institute of Charted Accountants. delivered keynote address
