    This Cell was established and functions on the basis of the guidelines set forth by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It works towards improving and maintaining the quality of education, identifying and suggesting new ways of using teaching aids, developing suitable infrastructure and offering suggestions for new self-financing courses. The IQAC has been diligently involved in helping the Management and Principal and other committees by offering valuable suggestions and measures in order to have consistency in maintaining the quality of education. Thus, IQAC is an effective and efficient internal co-ordinating and monitoring mechanism.

    Objective

    The Internal Quality Assurance Cell is formed with following objectives:

  • To monitor, guide and provide quality education,
  • To ensure continuous improvement in the entire operation of the college,
  • To assure persons and institutions, connected with this college, about our unfailing endeavors in attaining excellence is education,
  • To strive for a qualitatively better standard of life through the values of education.
  •          The Executive Members in the IQAC met regularly to execute the plans of the cell. Various departments, club in-charges and association in-charges were given guidelines to maintain the documents and records in their respective departments and clubs.
             Our college, Re-accredited with 'A' Grade by the NAAC, continues its operation in promoting the welfare of students academically and their caliber in all other fields. To fulfill the task of developing a system for consistent and catalytic improvement in the field of education, the IQAC is established in our college.

    The Internal Quality Assurance Cell, formed after the NAAC visit, mainly aims,
  • to monitor, guide and provide quality education,
  • to ensure continuous improvement in the entire operation of the college,
  • to assure persons and institutions, connected with this college with efficient and progressive performance in the premises and
  • to ensure effective, efficient and encourageble administrative excellence in this institution.

    Functions

    The cell is to meet periodically once in a month to review the activities and to plan for the days to come.
    The role of IQAC in the promotion of quality education and in seeing the growth of infrastructure with sound finance has always been noteworthy. Though the functions are more, they may be put in nut shell.

  • Concentrating in the development and application of quality parameters.
  • Monitoring and recording the quality measures and
  • Serving as a nodal agency on quality related activities in the college.

  •        These works will be brought out in the form of a report annually to show the progress and quality improvement.
           The Cell involves in evaluating the matter in connection with students, teaching staff, departments and non-teaching staff of the college.
